HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

First off Scentsy Friends, I want to wish everyone a very HAPPY NEW YEAR! I am so excited to begin the 2015 year off on a positive note!
 
I have big plans this year for my personal life, as well as my Scentsy business of course! I have pre-booked larger event shows (2 day events) as well as written down and created a 2015 dream board for myself. I feel as though writing down my goals makes them more permanent, and not just a "dream" and I want to work towards being able to physically CROSS OFF goals from that list.

Anyway, I hope everyone's holidays went well, and that you, yourselves, have great plans for 2015!

My Monthly Scentsy Special Opinion: I LOVE THESE. I wish I could just say that, and it would be enough for you to realize how amazing both the Warmer and Scent Of The Month are, however, I also feel as though I should probably elaborate a little bit. So, with that being said, lets start off with the Warmer Of The Month; Charmer. This warmer, when I first received it, I immediately realized how special and unique it was. I thought at first that the beach glass and red hearts would come inside and that would be that as far as the warmers potential goes, but its NOT EVEN THE BEGNNING. There have been so many creative ideas to do with this warmer alone it is unbelievable. However, I do have to forewarn, that using a Scentsy warmer with any other products has the potential to void its warranty so I want to be straight up and honest about that first off. I don't see how any issues can come from these ideas, however, I had to say it up front.

Changing up the gems to suit the seasons! This one just reminds me of pure winter... Actually to be honest,
it reminds me of the movie Frozen, which would be awesome in a themed kids room!

 Moving on, lets not forget the Scent Of The Month; Ice Hotel. I do have to say, I wasn't PERSONALLY the biggest fan of Decembers SOTM, so I was excited when I received my WOTM package and could immediately smell this fragrance radiating from the box without even having to open the package.... If you're a fan of the more masculine/fresh fragrances, this one is for you! I have had great reviews from my customers who have had the pleasure of already experiencing this fragrance from me, as well as from guests who came over for the holidays (of course I had it warming in my home, hehe!). I do have to say, when I read the description, I wasn't excited for another "tree" smell... as im not the biggest fan of that either, but to be honest, with this Scent, it doesn't come across that way at all. To describe it.... it just smells.... clean and fresh and cool. LOVE IT!

 

Now, getting to my FAVOURITE part about January....

BRING BACK MY BAR IS IN FULL SWING!! THESE FRAGRANCES WILL ONLY BE HERE FOR THIS MONTH BEFORE THEY'RE LOCKED UP AGAIN FOR GOOD!!!

 

     

Personally, I cannot wait to stock back up on Banana Nut Bread, its one of my personal favourites, and I run out so quickly! Also, I am excited for Lavender Vanilla, My Home, My Wish, and Twilight... although of course, they all sound amazing!!

I haven't re-vamped my home party games in quite some time, and I always like to play a booking game with guests (as a consultant, you will learn how important playing booking games can be with your business). Your goal, after all, when doing home parties, is to book more parties! This is the best way to make you business flourish.

 

I play "chance and honor" most of the time when there are regular home parties, when I can hand everyone their "bag" and tell them all to hold onto it and not open it until I have finished explaining the game... This works wonders for home parties that guests are there from a certain time all at once...

However, I have had more people choose to do an open-house style party over a more structured traditional party.

So, in order to do this, I came up with my own version of the balloon game. If you are a current consultant, check out your workstation under the games that Scentsy has provided for you for their version of the balloon game.

 

Basically, I have a presentation board (something you can pick up from your local business supply store) that I have decorated Scentsy style lol

 

I then have 10-15 balloons (or more depending on the estimated size of the party) that all have a piece of paper inside of them that has some form of prize written on them. Now the type of prizes you give away are totally up to you, but I usually have one GRAND PRIZE, one SPECIAL PRIZE, and then the rest are smaller prizes such as scent circles, and travel tins.

The guests, when they arrive, are asked to pick a balloon on the board (they are already blown up) and write their name on the balloon using permanent marker.

After they have chosen their balloon, I explain how the balloon works... they are able to pop their balloon if they are willing to host a party, and they will receive the prize inside! Here's the catch, they only get to receive their prize the day of their party!

I always explain to them what the GRAND PRIZE is, so everyone gets excited to play, and are wanting to pop their balloon before they leave the party.

Anyway, thought I'd pass the idea along, because it was something I could come up with for guests who weren't always going to be staying the entire duration of the party.
