The Final Days Of January

I know it seems that I always say this, and I really do try, I need to spend more time communicating and blogging with you all!

With that being said, I wanted to express how excited I am for this 2015 season and why I am excited.

First of all, its almost February.... haha, why is that exciting? Well, for Scentsy Consultants its transition month ... the month that we get to sneak peek into what's coming for the new catalogue season. It also means that the Spring Sprint routes have begun, which is SUPER exciting.

This year, the Spring Sprint tour closest to me will be on February 7th in Hamilton, ON. If you're going to be there too, let me know! I'd love to meet you! (Stay tuned for my WHAT IS SPRING SPRINT post!)

February is also exciting because for customers, we offer almost our entire catalogue at 10% off (with some minor exclusions), but I makes a great time for hostesess to have a party because all of your guests are getting an GREAT DEAL!

February also means great things for JOINING the Scentsy Family.... why? Because the starter kit not only includes testers and catalogues from the Fall/Winter Season, but it will also give you everything you need to start off the Spring/Summer season as well at no extra charge! BONUS!!!

Transition time for myself, also gets me excited because I start to realize that winter wont last forever, and my hibernation at home will soon be coming to an end! THE END IS IN SIGHT! I mean, don't get me wrong, I know our beloved Canadian winter will linger on as long as it possibly can.... but we're getting there! I am SOOOOO over these -30 temperatures.... SERIOUSLY.

Once February is in full swing, I will do an update for you on why im loving this little dude, and why hes the perfect addition to my home, and he will be for yours too! OH... and the Scent Of The Month.... Mmmmmmm.

So 2015.... I have managed to book myself a couple of events. Two of which are multi-day events, which thus far in my Scentsy journey I haven't done yet. I am SOOOO pumped for these! I cant tell you how much I LOVE doing events. If you're a current consultant and haven't done one yet, try and get into one! Even if its a small one at a local church or school fundraiser. You get to meet so many new people, and get to talk face to face about the products that you love! I hear it time and time again too though, that events are hard to book at times, but consistency is key! Stay in touch with event co-ordinaters. It will happen!

I am also getting excited, because soon enough I will hit my first 10,000 lifetime PRV! I have been watching my numbers grow, and in just over 1 year it's happening! This business rocks!

Did I mention that because of Scentsy, I was able to afford not ONE but TWO family vacations? We had our first at the beginning of December 2014, and the next one, we will be taking off to the Mayan Riviera in Mexico at the end of February. This was always my main goal with joining Scentsy.... to be able to do those "above and beyond" things with my family, and its helping me make that happen.

Right... so... good rambling novel Britt, eh?

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

First off Scentsy Friends, I want to wish everyone a very HAPPY NEW YEAR! I am so excited to begin the 2015 year off on a positive note!
 
I have big plans this year for my personal life, as well as my Scentsy business of course! I have pre-booked larger event shows (2 day events) as well as written down and created a 2015 dream board for myself. I feel as though writing down my goals makes them more permanent, and not just a "dream" and I want to work towards being able to physically CROSS OFF goals from that list.

Anyway, I hope everyone's holidays went well, and that you, yourselves, have great plans for 2015!

My Monthly Scentsy Special Opinion: I LOVE THESE. I wish I could just say that, and it would be enough for you to realize how amazing both the Warmer and Scent Of The Month are, however, I also feel as though I should probably elaborate a little bit. So, with that being said, lets start off with the Warmer Of The Month; Charmer. This warmer, when I first received it, I immediately realized how special and unique it was. I thought at first that the beach glass and red hearts would come inside and that would be that as far as the warmers potential goes, but its NOT EVEN THE BEGNNING. There have been so many creative ideas to do with this warmer alone it is unbelievable. However, I do have to forewarn, that using a Scentsy warmer with any other products has the potential to void its warranty so I want to be straight up and honest about that first off. I don't see how any issues can come from these ideas, however, I had to say it up front.

With that being said, check out how some other consultants have creatively used this warmer:

 



 

 

Changing up the gems to suit the seasons! This one just reminds me of pure winter... Actually to be honest,
it reminds me of the movie Frozen, which would be awesome in a themed kids room!

Scentsy's silhouette wraps inside!

 Moving on, lets not forget the Scent Of The Month; Ice Hotel. I do have to say, I wasn't PERSONALLY the biggest fan of Decembers SOTM, so I was excited when I received my WOTM package and could immediately smell this fragrance radiating from the box without even having to open the package.... If you're a fan of the more masculine/fresh fragrances, this one is for you! I have had great reviews from my customers who have had the pleasure of already experiencing this fragrance from me, as well as from guests who came over for the holidays (of course I had it warming in my home, hehe!). I do have to say, when I read the description, I wasn't excited for another "tree" smell... as im not the biggest fan of that either, but to be honest, with this Scent, it doesn't come across that way at all. To describe it.... it just smells.... clean and fresh and cool. LOVE IT!

 

Now, getting to my FAVOURITE part about January....



That's right!!!

Hello December!!

Okay Scentsy Friends!

I know that its already December 9th, and typically I post about the month on the first day of the month, HOWEVER.... I just got back from Cuba! Thanks to my Scentsy Pay I was able to pay for a trip for myself and my wonderful boyfriend.

How great is that? .... right?

VACATION?!?

Journey Update

 

 

For those of you who have followed my journey so far, know that I originally signed up with Scentsy to have the ability to do things with my family above and beyond our normal life. For example, head on a vacation, be able to buy that extra toy, or splurge on dinner and movie outings.

 

Today will mark my 1 Year Scentiversary, and I am so thankful and joyous about today because I can officially say that we are booked and set and ready to travel to CUBA at the end of November this year, and I have to thank my #Scentsy family for providing me the addiontal income to be able to have this opportunity.

I will be spending a week on a 5 star resort, soaking in the sunshine and counting my blessings. So I have achieved my first goal, officially on the date that marks my 1 year Scentiversary with Scentsy Fragrance.

Tragedy Strikes In Our Backyard

"In brazen shootings in Ottawa Wednesday, an armed attacker identified by CBC News as Michael Zehaf-Bibeau, a Canadian born in 1982, shot and fatally wounded a Canadian Forces member at the National War Memorial before heading to Parliament's Centre Block, where he was shot dead."

News like this never seems to strike as close to home as this. I always hear and see things within the news about terrorism attacks, and although I personally don't live in Ottawa, this is our nations Capital and no matter what, as a Canadian, you cant help or fight that overwhelming feeling that these things are happening too close to home. I have true faith in our government and in our defense system in Canada, and I know that although we pride ourselves on being peaceful, everyone will be on slight edge for the next little while.

 

I want to offer my sincerest condolences for the Cirillo's family and friends who lost a very young and brave member of their family yesterday morning. "Cpl. Nathan Cirillo, 24, was shot while on honorary guard at the National War Memorial. Ottawa Police announced hours after the shooting that the soldier shot at the memorial had died."
