Scentsy Warmers & Finishes

Talkin Scents 101

When I first began my Scentsy Fragrance journey, I had never imagined the true quality of the products that I was offering, and the amount of effort that goes into them to make them as unique and special as they are.

Most people tend to flip through the first couple pages of our catalogue to get to the "good stuff" haha, but I wanted to take the time out to discuss the warmer differences and the different finishes that go into them.

I also get asked the question "What's the difference between a Premium and a Deluxe warmer?" In the past Scentsy Fragrance used to use the terms "Mid-Size" and "Full-Size" warmers based on the size of the warmer, which later changed to "Premium" and "Deluxe" simply because the warmers aren't categorized by size anymore, more so on the finishes and amount of work that goes into them.

The more of a process they require will determine the category in which they fall under. The same goes for the Lampshade collection warmers, which are made of hand-blown glass rather than porcelain.

Keep in mind, that because its called "premium" does not make it a "better" warmer... the deluxe warmers work just as perfectly, however, they require a less of a production process to be made.

The Warmers:

Light bulb warmers: These warmers use a low-watt light bulb to melt wax and provide patterns on light. These are available in a range of sizes and designs, including plug-in style warmers that are perfect for small rooms with limited counter space (such as a bathroom).

There are also element warmers, which use a heating element to slowly melt wax. You get all of the benefits of Scentsy without the light. (Perfect for those who want Scentsy in their room, who do not like light on at night).

Finishes:

Throughout our catalogue you will find indication marks that let you know the type of process that was required to make that warmer.

The "H" stands for Hand-Painted finish. Which means that the warmer is finished with hand-painted accents, carefully and individually applied by craft workers.

The "R" stands for "Reactive-Glaze Finish". Meaning one-of-a-kind warmers created with a reactive-glaze process that gives each piece a handcrafted look.

The "C" stands for Crackle Finish. Created with a glaze that crackles when heat is applied in the kiln. Tiny cracks appear on the finish, giving the warmer a distinct, aged look.
