Is Scentsy Safe For Children?
I have been asked by several parents whether
or not Scentsy is truly safe to use around small children.
THE ANSWER IS YES!!
I understand the uncertainty of this
because unless you have used Scentsy Fragrance products, you usually relate
them to your regular every day jar candle (which aren’t safe to use around
small children - due to hot wax, fire, flame, soot, smoke, chemicals, etc.)
Scentsy warmers have no wick, no flame,
and do not let off any harmful soot or smoke. They use a low-watt light bulb to
gently and slowly melt high quality food grade paraffin wax fragrance bars that are non-toxic. So,
our warmers do not get extremely hot and the wax does not get hotter than body
temperature, making it is safe to use around children of all ages (and pets
too!)
The only situation you could possibly run into, is if your child spills the wax, which again, is not a big deal! The wax is easily removed from surfaces (including carpet!) , and wont burn skin if they spill it on themselves!
