Okay, okay, okay... I know I have been attempting to do my fragrance Friday's about the Spring and Summer scents that are currently available... BUTTTTT .... I was totally inspired yesterday at my friend's house to showcase this fragrance.
COCONUT LEMONGRASS
Soooo.. why was I inspired to showcase this one??... I had delivered my friends Scentsy order over to her house yesterday... she ordered a few hand soaps, one of which being the coconut lemongrass one... she had placed it in her main guest bathroom... and when I used it... it sparked so many great feelings about the summer for me! It got me all excited!
So, I know this isn't a NEW fragrance for Scentsy, however, its a good one! It totally screams summer, and reminds me of a pina colada or something... haha

My Personal Opinion:
So I have to say that I never actually had this one personally in bar form.... until now, and I have stocked up LOL. My first experience with Happy Go Lucky was in the body spray. It has become my personal Layers scent... I now use it in the body wash, body lotion, and body spray, as well has have it warming constantly in my main bathroom that I get ready every day in.
There's something about this scent that does truly make me feel happy, and for me, it sparks memories of such happy times from my childhood. I still cant quite pin point WHERE this memory is from, all I know is that I love it, and its now one of my personal favourites!
Anyway that's all for now!
Off to get ready for a co-workers wedding! Yay!

MY PERSONAL OPINION:
I do have to say that typically my first choice for Scents when reading descriptions is not to choose something that's "outdoorsy" ... Although, I'm not 100% sure why LOL. I do have to say, that I enjoy this scent a lot. Its a very relaxing smell in my opinion, which is probably why I like it so much. Its fresh and doesn't exactly smell like the ocean, but it does remind me of vacation, so that's definltey a good thing, RIGHT? lol
This Friday, April 11, 2014 I have chosen a Scent that I am officially OBSESSED with! It totally screams SUMMER and perhaps a delicious summer DRINK that I cannot wait to enjoy by the pool!

My Scentsational Opinion:
This scent is perfect for the summer, its fruity and smells juicy, if that's even possible. Its not overly potent with the cherry, which is good for my tastes, because I'm not the Cherry's number one fan. But THIS... THIS is perfectly balanced with the lime and the berries! This scent seriously makes me thirsty!
There's always a lot of buzz about Scentsy Fragrance when it comes to the warmers, wax, and travel scent products... But there is SO MUCH MORE TO SCENTSY!

Its my favourite day of the week!! Not only because its the end of a busy work week, but its because my weekends are my dedicated Scentsy time!
I work my Scentsy business 24/7, however, weekends are when I find the most time for myself to be able to sit down, spread out, and truly focus on my customers. Its when I prepare for the week to come, with my short term goals, and its also when I look ahead and see where I am going towards my long term goals. What's the first thing that pops into your head when you think of Valentines day candy?
CHOCOLATE?!?!.... WRONG-O... I said the same thing, coming from a choco-holic I don't blame you.
I'm talking about CANDY though....

These iconic candies have been around since 1902, and are made by Necco. Every year Necco adds new sayings onto their beloved candy hearts.
This year they have even added "Tweet Me" and "Text Me" - seriously we are so driven by technology these days it sometimes scares me!!
You're probably thinking what the heck does this have to do with Scentsy?!? ..... here I am rambling on about CANDY... haha..
Well my friends, I found this on the Scentsy blog, and thought it was super fun! Do you remember getting these candies and trying to make sentences or poems with them as a kid?
Scentsy took a spin on this concept, and using the idea of Conversation Hearts to make Scentsy Fragrance sayings and poems related to Valentines day... "CONVERSATION BARS!"
I LOVE THIS CONCEPT! So creative!!

I like to do things to encourage myself to stay in the Scentsy Spirit. There are months that all consultants have that aren't as "good" as others, or months that you have set goals and were so close to making, but didn't quite get there.
I want everyone to understand that this is NORMAL! In any business there are ups and downs, accomplishments and failures. This is all part of the learning process, and of course, its reality.
You cannot beat yourself up for the hard times... if you do, you will stress yourself out, and become unmotivated to keep going.
INSTEAD - you need to take those moments and turn them into something positive, use them as a learning experience and try to understand what didn't work, and change it so it DOES work!
I keep myself thinking positively by doing small things in my life that keep me, and those around me, motivated!
Things such as the fact that I have my Scentsy scent circle in my car, its right there in front of me, and I see it every time I get in to take a drive.
The Scent Pak I have sitting on my desk at work.
The plug-in warmer that I have warming in the bathroom at work for all of my ladies.
Not only am I sharing my business and the Scentsy experience, I get to see and smell these things on a daily basis which keeps my mind on my goals.
Simple things like this keep your mind on track even if you don't realize it.
I have also been known to do, what some people would call "silly", things to keep myself motivated.
I do things like paint my nails bright purple, or bright green ... or even both! (Scentsy Colours).
I find the simple things, that work and mean something personally, keep you motivated!
My most recent motivation endeavor was this:
YES, I now have PURPLE hair! It was nerve wrecking but also super exciting.
